Stomping the Search Engines 2 & The Net Effect- The Review
Okay I finally had to lock myself in the office and shut off the iphone to give STSE2 and The Net Effect my full and complete attention.
This is more than just an industry magazine/journal. For once I can say I read a marketing journal where every article had something in it I could use right away. Topics like web design for the buying eye, EXACTLY how to use Twitter for Traffic, and getting your email marketing campaigns producing. That is 3 out of the 15 meaty articles. None of the articles were out to sell me anything, in fact most had links and references to free tools. The step by step approach is perfect for marketers of any level. I liked the fact that for every tactic there was an explanation of not only how but why.
The Net Effect won’t be collecting dust anywhere because you will be referring to it constantly. The one suggestion I would make is they need to put the three punch holes in it so you can keep your journal in a hard notebook.
Hmm well I put STSE2 in my Mac Book Pro and umm well it didn’t like the disk at all. It just kept spitting it back at me. I have an external DVD drive and it worked just fine in that.
I love the video format. I can skip around to the modules that peak my interest. I resisted that though and just let it play There are some modules that you really need the previous modules information before tackling them - like Link Building. Link building is the most misunderstood tactic by most SEO’s and Stomper puts it all into the proper perspective.
I thought a lot of it would be old hat to me but was pleasantly rewarded with lots of new insights and tactics I am already putting into action.
STSE videos were like going to a private seminar I had the presentation and the speaker without the expensive airline tickets, hotel room etc.
So the big question is how much? umm FREE?
